Data & Account Deletion

Understand the differences between local data, account data and subscriptions before taking action.

Pre-launch editionUpdated 8 September 2026
Before you readLawCast is not yet generally available. These steps refer to a test version with accounts. Menus may change before launch. This website has no user accounts and does not delete data automatically.

1. Website data

This website has no visitor accounts, registration database or data collection forms. If you previously sent data to the team and wish to request deletion, see Support when a contact channel becomes available.

2. Delete an app account

In a test version that supports accounts and sync, complete these steps in the app yourself. Menu names below are English descriptions of the Thai interface:

  1. Open Profile and go to Account and Sync.
  2. Select Delete LawCast account.
  3. Read the consequences, choose identity verification for deletion and follow the app instructions.
  4. Check the confirmation. Signing out or closing the app alone does not confirm deletion.

In the system under development, account deletion covers account and personal server data such as bookmarks, notes, playlists, positions and conflict copies. Local account data is cleared after success is confirmed. Guest data and purchase history are not deleted by the same process.

3. Clear data on this device

Under Profile → Account and Privacy, options include Clear personal data on this device and Export personal data. Export anything you want to keep before deleting. These are English descriptions of the Thai menu labels.

Caution: For account-linked data, some deletions may sync to other devices when the same account reconnects. Read in-app confirmations carefully. Clearing local data does not delete the entire account.

4. Subscriptions are separate

Deleting an account, signing out or uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. If your version has an auto-renewing App Store subscription, manage or cancel it separately through your Apple account.

Relevant providers may retain purchase data required for legal obligations or payment systems. Check the terms shown at purchase and Apple’s guidance.

5. If deletion fails or you cannot access the app

Do not send passwords or OTPs to the team. Verify identity through appropriate service procedures. Prepare your device model, app version, steps taken and error messages, hiding unnecessary personal information.

Contact the LawCast team at support@thailawcast.com or visit Support.

Processing times and any data that must be retained will be explained according to the circumstances and applicable law. Clicking a contact link is not confirmation of deletion.
