1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, purchasing or using the LawCast app, website or related services, you agree to these Terms. The service is operated by The LawCast team. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
If you permit a minor to use LawCast, you confirm that you may accept these Terms for them and will supervise their use as appropriate.
2. Service and purpose
LawCast helps people read, listen to, research, annotate and review Thai law. Features may include search, narration, bookmarks, notes, playlists, device sync and AI-generated explanations. Features, content, allowances and supported devices may change as the service develops.
LawCast is for general education and research. It is not legal advice, a legal opinion or a government publication and does not create a lawyer-client relationship. Check official sources and consult an appropriate professional before making decisions with legal consequences. See the Content Disclaimer.
3. Accounts, data and privacy
You may use basic features in Guest mode and choose to create or sign in to an account for supported features such as sync. You must safeguard your sign-in method and are responsible for activity through your account.
Some information remains on your device, while account, purchase, analytics and AI features may use online services. The Privacy Policy explains campaign measurement and why the current app does not request ATT permission. See Data & Account Deletion for deletion guidance.
4. Subscriptions, trials and payments
Some features may require an auto-renewing App Store subscription. The price, currency, trial, billing period and included access are displayed before confirmation and may vary by country, tax and Apple pricing rules.
- Apple processes payment and charges the Apple Account used to purchase.
- After a trial, the subscription renews under the terms shown by the App Store unless cancelled within Apple’s required time.
- Manage or cancel in Apple Account settings. Deleting an account, signing out or uninstalling does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled under Apple’s terms and applicable consumer law.
5. AI features
AI explanations, summaries and answers may be incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for your circumstances. Verify important information against official sources and do not treat AI output as legal advice or your sole basis for a decision.
AI features depend on internet access and third-party providers and may be delayed, limited, changed or unavailable. Do not submit passwords, confidential case information or unnecessary personal information.
6. Acceptable use
Use LawCast lawfully and for personal purposes. Do not copy, sell, scrape or redistribute databases or service media without authorization; bypass subscriptions, quotas, entitlement checks or security; or use bots, scripts or excessive requests to disrupt the service.
Do not infringe others’ rights, upload malicious code, impersonate anyone or use the service unlawfully.
7. Intellectual property and your content
LawCast software, design, branding, produced audio, explanations and licensed materials are protected. We grant a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use the service. We do not claim rights over legislation or official documents we do not own.
You retain rights in your notes, playlists and content. You allow us to process them only as needed to store, sync, export, display or provide features you choose.
8. Third parties, availability and liability
LawCast may rely on Apple, RevenueCat, Supabase, Firebase, AppsFlyer and AI providers according to the features and settings used. We may update, change or discontinue features and do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service, content, audio and AI output are provided “as is” and “as available.” Nothing excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Law, changes and contact
These Terms are governed by Thai law without removing mandatory consumer protections. We may update them when the service, law or providers change, and will update the date and give additional notice when appropriate.
